Artisanally handcrafted in small batches by the founder Vangie with assistance from her mom and daughter.

100% all-natural, plant-based ingredients, free from parabens, GMOs, polysorbates, petroleum, and synthetic fragrances, ensuring a "very clean" product.

Formulated for a variety of uses for self-care and recovery. For instance, the original blue bath soak was initially customized for athletes to extend the benefits of massage and aid in rehabilitation.

Through dedicated experimentation she now offers a range of products including bath soaks, essential oil blends, shampoo bars, salves, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, hand sanitizers, and room sprays.

They boast "stunning aesthetics" and "gorgeous" branding, created by a local artist Abby Haddican, making them beautiful and appealing.

The scents are "so well balanced", providing a pleasant aroma that can make an entire home smell good and help you "breathe at home".

The brand's philosophy centers on self-care and well-being. Born from Vangie's observation that people often "discount ourselves" by pouring so much out without taking time for themselves.

Born and raised in Manila, my journey to wellness was shaped by bayanihan—the Filipino spirit of community and care. Grounded by tradition, our lives moved fast in the city, but it was on my grandmother’s farm in the province of Bicol that my soul found its rhythm among rice paddies and mango trees. There I learned to listen to the land, to grow with care, and to live in harmony with nature.

Years later as a massage therapist - working with people navigating trauma, injury, and rehabilitation - a clear pattern began to emerge. When our bodies are under constant stress they struggle to repair themselves. What if there were practices and products that could bring the benefits of a 90 minute massage into our daily lives?

I began to experiment with making and sharing homemade Recovery Soaks with clients, crafted with the same care that I put into every healing session. The turning point came when a client expressed his desire to buy them. What started as a personal remedy quickly grew into a family business and a true labor of love. With the support of my local Twin Cities Food Co-ops I was able to offer my first products for sale and that’s when I realized Komoni® could support wellness far beyond my massage table.
